Responsibilities:
- Create and implement ageappropriate lesson plans and activities for preschoolaged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress
- Manage behavior in a positive and constructive manner
- Ensure the wellbeing and welfare of all children in the classroom
- Provide care for toddlers during designated times
- Incorporate early childhood education principles into daily routines and activities
- Teach basic math concepts through handson experiences
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
Skills:
- Previous experience working with toddlers
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques appropriate for young children
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations
- Experience in toddler care and early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Familiarity with math concepts suitable for preschoolers
- Knowledge of daycare operations and best practices
- Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
