Janitor

Pay:
$18/hr.

Shift: 2nd shift (2:15pm start)

As a Plant Janitor you are responsible for maintaining plant facilities in a clean, orderly manner.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Clean offices, lunchrooms and bathrooms
  • Remove trash from grounds surrounding plant
  • Clean and control dust in manufacturing areas (SSBO)
  • Scrape floors, vacuums dust and cleans in wax molding and assembly areas (SSBO)
  • Vacuums carpet
  • Clean glass and other surfaces which may include light fixtures, stairs and lockers
  • Empties trash receptacles
  • Maintains janitorial supplies; provides orders to supervisor
  • To take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices/adheres to plant and department safety rules
  • Safely operates all equipment and tools
  • Identifies and reports safety problems
  • May be required to work with hazardous waste.

  • Forklift (SSBO, TBO only)
  • Mop and bucket
  • Vacuum
  • Buffer
  • Scrubber
  • Step ladder
