We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
• Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and assist with patient inquiries
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
• Follow proper infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding
• Strong knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required
