Hand + Physical Therapy NYC is a Therapist owned and operated outpatient practice.

Located in Union Square, New York City, we offer specialty Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Hand therapy services in a state of the art facility where our focus is on clinical care and customer service.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Greet patients and assist patients in and out of therapy area.
  • Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the facility.
  • Maintain responsibility for general administrative support.
  • Answer telephones, screen and refer incoming calls.
  • Aid in the treatment and care of patients in a manner consistent with the American Occupational Therapy / Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and New York Occupational Therapy / Physical Therapy Practice Act.
  • Prepare equipment for treatment as needed by the Therapist(s).
  • Maintain facility records and filing, consistent with company procedures.
  • Work with the billing department to ensure that all billing information is correct.
  • Perform housekeeping duties; maintain order and cleanliness throughout the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelors Degree/ Associates Degree or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
