Overview:

The Events Ops Manager works with the sales team and is responsible for the planning and execution of high-profile large-scale events.

This role will pay a salary of $70,000 to $75,000.

For FT roles:

Responsibilities:


  • Planning, organizing, and executing high profile largescale events.
  • Creating floorplan, managing timeline, staffing, rental, vendors, and certificates of insurance for events
  • Communicating with all vendors prior, during and after the events.
  • Monitoring the onsite operations and overseeing the setup and execution.
  • Coordinate with the marketing function on all sales marketing programs.
  • Maximize profitability on all proposals and invoices.
  • Participate in the weekly sales meeting.
  • Attend the weekly leadership meeting.
  • Report to Director of Catering.

Qualifications:

  • Five years of team leadership experience in the field of luxury brand sales
  • Proven skills in Leadership, Communication, Strategic planning, and Training
  • Excellent competencies in followup and team accountability, consistency in process
  • Ability to have a granular focus on the internal and external customer in order to grow sales at this wellpositioned luxury offpremises event and catering brand
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Proactive, teamoriented working approach
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to work independently
  • Interest in the Catering/Events business
  • Seeking continuous professional development
