Prototype Builds:
- Key duties and responsibilities include:_
- Receiving of materials and components used in the manufacture of medical devices
- Transacting inventory within the warehouse, out to the production floor, or to individual requestors
- Collecting components into kits of material for work orders or for Kanban bins on the production lines
- Shipping of completed prototype assemblies out to sterilization or to other facilities within the company
- Maintaining an accurate physical count of materials within both the stockroom and the production floor
- Documenting all materials transactions, both on paper and electronically for traceability purposes
- Recommend improvements to the processes, as needed
Inventory Control and Tracking:
- Key duties and responsibilities include:_
- Assist with receipt of raw materials and components, including unpacking, coordination of release testing and documentation.
- Pre kitting Work Orders
- Keeping warehouse and inventory locations clean and organized
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts in the site MRP system
EH&S and Facilities Support:
- Key duties and responsibilities include:_
- Assist with chemical management and traceability through the VelocityEHS system
- Supporting any DOT Hazardous Materials registration activities
- Participate in safety and compliance inspections
Basic Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
- 1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to perform/operate in a metricsdriven environment.
- General computer skills.
Preferred Requirements:
- Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
- Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
- Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
- Works under general to limited supervision.
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
- Effective communication skills at a level coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
