    Description


    Technical Staffing Resources is seeking a Civil Structural Engineer to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country.

    The position is located in Newark, DE though a hybrid arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.

    ResponsibilitiesUnder broad direction, this role will supervise and lead a group of engineers and designersProvide technical direction over a group (2-15 depending on project), coaching and professional development of lower-level engineering and design professionalsResponsible for the planning, budgeting, organizing and controlling of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope up to $200mil.

    Responsible for all measurable assets such as an assigned staff, schedule, budgets and work estimatesTechnical content on construction released structural drawings for structural steel and concretePreparing structural calculations for structural steel and concreteConceptual and final foundation design including spread footings, piles, and drilled shaftsPreparing construction specificationsProviding technical support during construction for all structural activitiesRequirements/QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural EngineeringProfessional Engineer License (PE), or ability to obtain one within 6 months of start of employment8+ years of experience in structural engineering specific to steel, concrete, etc.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to lead a small to medium team to deliver on commitments
