    Description

    R & O Engineering P.C, in Queens is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer/Project Manager for our office. Responsibilities for this job includes planning, reviewing, and finalizing projects most likely light gauge project according to deadlines and within budget.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform the design of the Light gauge (Cold form steel) structural drawings.
    • Perform the design and analysis of concrete structures as per ACI code.
    • Design underpinning, and support of excavation for new and existing structures.
    • Prepare design calculations, specifications and design analysis
    • Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.
    • Knowledge of structural software skills including AutoCAD, SAFE, Etabs, RAM, and Revit.
    • Co-coordinate with Architects, Mechanical Engineers, and the project owners for successful completion of projects.
    • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (internal and external).

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
