Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in need. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

This client is seeking a male caregiver due to personal care needs

Duties:

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Monitor and record vital signs
Implement behavior management strategies as directed by supervisors
Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Lift and transfer individuals as needed

Skills:

Experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
Knowledge of ADLs and providing personal care assistance
Familiarity with direct support techniques and behavior management strategies
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift and move objects or individuals as required
Proficient in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
