    Program Analyst - Atlanta, United States - Insight Global

    Description
    A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Program Analyst/Administrator.

    This individual will be joining the Operations Support/Asset Protection team and will be responsible for gathering, extracting, manipulating, cleaning, analyzing, and modeling raw data using analytical and statistical methods to assist with current and future planning decisions and programs.

    The job will involve working with program implementation, data management, KPI metric development, operational planning, and compliance monitoring to define questions and communicate and implement new initiatives; working with databases to extract the data; and analyzing the data to answer questions.


    Responsibilities:

    • Create and build data pipelines to allow automation, schedule and scale of operational activities
    • Data monitoring: ensure data quality across workflows
    • Work with business teams to translate data into actionable solutions
    • Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis and reporting
    • Identify data flow gaps, develop, and automate work flows to support program execution, and create data quality monitoring procedures (including data audits and exception ,)
    • Data extraction, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting to collaborate with stakeholders to present findings
    • Create data controls and develop dashboards for leadership to keep a pulse on compliance programs
    • Effectively create queries and scripts to analyze and visualize internal and external data sources
    • Effectively communicate findings/recommendations with peers and senior management regarding analysis of data
    • Support departmental projects with project management skills
    • Work independently with multiple department members and external resources to define tasks and prioritize deliverable deadlines
    • Enhance overall productivity of the department by performing a wide variety of support tasks

    Required Skills & Experience


    • BA or BS in in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, GIS or Business Intelligence Analytics
    • Experience creating and building data pipelines to allow automation, schedule and scale of operational activities
    * 5-7 years of experience working with program/project management involving monitoring and reporting of large data sets within construction, finance, regulatory or utility

    o Proficient in data cleaning and data miningfixing structural errors, formatting, removing duplicates, extracting and discovering patterns etc.


    • Experience with cloud-based business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Data ETL (Extract, Transform and Loaddata integration process that combines data from multiple data sources into a single, consistent data warehouseexample: power query)
    • Experience using analytics for performance metrics, regulatory compliance reporting/audits, cost and resource analysis
    • Experience building Power BI or similar dashboards from scratch
    • Experience translating data between stakeholders
    • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
    • Experience analyzing information and developing insights from a work management system (asset condition/inspection, field survey, GIS, etc.)
    • Experience creating and building data pipelines to allow automation, schedule and scale of operational activities
    • Experience translating data between data owners, data consumers and data generators
    • Ability to recognize how tasks rank in order of urgency to prioritize time and attend to critical details
    • Overall good business acumen and ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to work independently and problem solve
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with all levels in the organization
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience


    • Relational database management system experience
    • Power automate (formally called Microsoft Flow, a cloud based software that allows automation workflows and tasks across multiple applications and services without help from developers)
    • Maximo (enterprise asset work management system)
    • Oracle (database management system)
    • Experience transitioning to one work management system to another work management system
    • Southern Company experience

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
