Description
**Now hiring a CNC Field Service Technician for a local manufacturing company with a starting pay of $40/hour**
**Job Description:**
+ Seeking a Field Service Technician that will travel across the domestic USA to clients and repair, troubleshoot, install, and train clients how to use/repair their CNC Machines. Candidates will leave town on Monday and can expect to be home by Friday night every week.
+ Travel to customer's facility to provide installation, troubleshooting maintenance and repair support on Matsuura machines and controls
+ Provide comprehensive training to distributors and customers as wells as assistance over e-mail and phone
+ Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues
+ Ensure proper documentation regarding machine issues, repairs and installation; the Matsuura CNC Field Service Technician will provide detailed feedback to management, distributors and customers
+ Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and Matsuura Machinery product lines
+ Execute warranty repairs and providing after warranty service on Matsuura products
+ Produce technical bulletins and repair manuals
+ When candidates are not traveling, they will be working in house to provide over the phone support to customers.
**Qualifications**
+ Willing to travel weekly Monday-Friday
+ Experience with Fanuc PLC controls is required (Siemens and Maskawa are nice to have)
+ 5+ years' experience performing maintenance on CNC Mill Machines
