    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at an elementary school near Portland,Maine.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one and small group behavior therapy sessions to elementary school students with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities.
    • Implement behavior intervention plans and individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
    • Collect data on student progress and behavior to monitor and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
    • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency in behavior management techniques across settings.

    Requirements:

    • Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
    • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or related developmental disabilities preferred.
    • Safety Care trained or willingness to plete Safety Care training.
    • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and support staff.
