Description
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team.As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical assistance and support to one of our premiere clients, an ultra-conservative non-profit.
Duties:
- Provide technical support to end users regarding hardware, software, and networkrelated issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment
- Provide onsite desktop/laptop support including new hardware setup, imaging, and deployment
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users
- Set up user accounts and permissions in M36
- Assist with software installations and upgrades
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues
- Document all support activities and resolutions in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Mac OS
- Experience with Azure Active Directory administration
- Familiarity with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide clear instructions to nontechnical users
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
