Description
The Patient Account Representative II Physician Clinic is responsible for assigned patient accounts associated with HCMC employed providers within the medical center, the medical arts building, and satellite locations.
The representative for this position will take primary responsibility for oversight of patient account balances, including contacting patients, assisting with payment plans, vetting accounts prior to submission to collection agencies, and interfacing with collection services.
Qualifications
Licensure and/or Education:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of medical office experience. AAPC or other coding certification is strongly preferred.
Experience:
5+ years working accounts receivables. Strong preference given to candidates who have medical provider billing experience.
