Full Time Seasonal Shop Laborer
This on site full time seasonal position located in Mesa, AZ. includes a fast paced environment and a variety of daily tasks. The work week is Monday - Friday. This position requires the ability to lift and move heavy objects and complete physically demanding tasks daily. The focus is on assisting with prepping, maintaining and the upkeep of the company's equipment and storage facility. Most of the workday is spent doing work and tasks outside and in the heat.

Emergency Support Services, LLC is a small, family-owned business headquartered in Phoenix, with multiple locations on the West Coast. As a company, we provide support services to government entities, primarily focusing on wild-land forest fire suppression efforts.

We utilize a large variety of equipment, and the timely delivery and reliability of this equipment is imperative to aiding these natural disasters.

Requirements:

• Forklift Certified
• Mechanically minded, familiar with the basic hand tools and basic repairs on equipment
• Reliable and dependable
• Comfortable working and completing tasks outdoors
• A current valid Driver License
• Be Safety minded and uphold Safety Standards at all times
• Follow processes and procedures
• Must be teachable
• Maintain a positive outlook and be flexible with work times and duties

Shop Duties Include:

• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, twist, lift, push, & pull throughout complete shift
• Safely loading & unloading equipment, supplies & parts
• Clean, prep and maintain company equipment
• Use a forklift as required to load and unload equipment, supplies and parts
• Perform vehicle oil changes and make minor equipment repairs
• Strapping & securing loads based on best practices
• Keep equipment and supplies organized
• Promptly report maintenance and/or safety issues to management

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary


Pay:
From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
