- Conduct and lead Behavioral Analysis Research (BAR) focusing on behavioral science research and its impact on insider threat, security, and national security applications.
- Collaborate on research projects related to personnel security and counterintelligence issues.
- Promote the use of scientifically valid tools and methods to enhance security processes and policies.
- Serve various stakeholders including senior leaders, government agencies, congress, and international partners, offering insights on leadership development and security strategies.
- Consult with clients to determine research needs and provide expert advice on methodological approaches.
- Plan and manage research projects, ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery of results.
- Analyze and evaluate data to produce reports addressing customer requirements.
- Communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Represent and promote research capabilities within the agency and drive the adoption of new behavioral science tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends by attending conferences and engaging in continuous professional development activities.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology.
- 7-10 years of experience in neuropsychology, national security psychology, or social behavioral science research.
- Proficiency in research methodology, statistical analysis, and visualization tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation.
- PhD degree in psychology.
- Candidates outside Washington, D.C. area may undergo remote or in-person interviews.
