    Operations Manager / Manufacturing / Optics / Photonics / Lasers / New York

    I am partnered with an industry leader in the development and manufacturing of high-end laser systems as they look to hire an experienced and enthusiastic Operations Manager.

    This is a new position within the organization that will play an integral role in driving non-engineering production requirements and their double-digit growth strategy. The position is based out of my clients US HQ in Rochester, NY.

    Role: Operations Manager

    Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 plus great benefits.

    Location: Rochester, NY

    Visa: Right to work in the US

    The skills needed for the role include:

    • Experienced managing within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proven success in managing multiple departments with maximum productivity.
    • Ability to effectively support production teams and promote high performance.
    • Ability to hold responsibility for all operational activities, ensuring correct recording of processes.
    • Ability to develop, implement and support ISO 9001 compliance and quality assurance.
    • Budget management experience.
    • Experienced managing and motivating teams.
    • Strong in conflict management and business management processes
    • Confident use of CRM and ERP solutions, ideally MS Dynamics NAV.
    • Previous experience working in the Optics / Photonics industry will be advantageous.
