    We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert 3 (Change Management/Trainer).

    Located on-site in Chesapeake, VA.

    ESN is seeking a Subject Matter Expert 3 (Change Management/Trainer) to provide Business Applications In Service Engineering Agent (BA ISEA) Integrated Project Team (IPT) Technical Support for the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR).

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess internal and external training requirements that involve maintaining and sustaining the BA ISEA IPT's legacy capabilities as well as transitioning to future capabilities to determine the best course of action.
  • Provide support for planning, analysis, design, and development to work with the developers to assess training needs, define requirements, identify solutions, design, develop, and implement training products/solutions.
  • Engage with the development teams to understand the depth and breadth of the capabilities in order to design and develop customer facing training requirements (e.g., computer-based training products, Instructional briefings such as slides, PDFs, and videos, creations/review of application self-help).
  • Experience Requirements:

  • Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with software maintenance products (Navy Aviation Maintenance experience 12 years, Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA), Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), Maintenance Data System (MDS), Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation (DECKPLATE)).
  • Three (3) of the following five (5) areas: Software Maintenance and Sustainment, Lifecycle Logistics, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, Training, and Functional Use. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in supporting DON maintenance, logistics, and business systems.
  • Education Requirements:

  • Technical Training in software maintenance and sustainment supporting DON maintenance, logistics, and business systems.
  • Security Clearance:

  • Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
