Supply Subject Matter Expert**
Position Description:Supply SME with experience and knowledge related to Supply and an understanding of interface testing with maintenance and other DoD Business Partners. Will be responsible for supporting the test and evaluation team's supply system testing. Incumbent must be able to qualify as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member and maintain a SECRET clearance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working with business analysts to provide identification and insight into Supply policies and processes.
  • Decomposing Naval Supply Requirements.
  • Providing indepth knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot issues within, complex information systems used to implement supply management systems utilized by the DON to manage Operational Supply activities.
  • Providing indepth understanding of interface requirements and relationships with other Naval Supply automated information systems.
  • Providing indepth knowledge of associated naval supply readiness as outline in the NAVSUP P48
  • Author and maintain software test cases and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct test design activities to identify and create test cases (positive and negative) traceable to system requirements.
  • Conduct static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels to include integration, functional, system, and acceptance.
  • Accurately record and report defects found during test events and trace to resolution.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, sponsors, and customers to determine acceptance criteria and coordinate certification test events with end user

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

MUST have Current US DoD Interim OR Secret level clearance.**:

  • Must be able to qualify as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Possess indepth knowledge of Naval Supply policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of naval Financial and Quality controls used by the Operational Forces.
  • Ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate (orally and written) findings and/or deficiencies.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives. BA/BS degree in a related field such as Engineering or Business Administration with a preference for advanced degrees in business or technology.
This position is primarily remote with a secondary location in Norfolk, VA.
