Description
Overview SUMMARYArcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is currently seeking a qualified Training and Support Specialist.The position will support Marine Corps end users of the AMS-TAC application with issues and questions and provide periodic onsite training for application usage.
Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.
Other duties may be assigned.Respond to end user inquiries and requests for assistance.
Provide Product Owner and team members with analysis, surveys, and data gathering based on support requests.
Provide Marine Corps and/or Navy end users with day-to-day corporate knowledge of processes and responsibilities of Marine Corps and Navy AMS-TAC processes.
Deliver onsite training at designated location Norfolk, VA approximately 1-2 times a year.Collaborate with other SMEs and system users in data gathering, business processes, and User Acceptance Testing. Provide input to system documentation.
Provide input to test scenarios.
Responsible to attend and participate in daily team meetings, execute assigned workload, and work within project management tools i.e., JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Qualifications QUALIFICATIONSRequired (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications5+ years' experience in the applicable field of Marine Corps logistics.
Bachelors degree, advanced certification or comparable years of experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other CharacteristicsPositive, professional, team player attitude.
Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate.
Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to research and effectively prepare training materials as needed.
Knowledge of Marine Corps Automated Manifest System
