The AMK Elektroanlagen und Gerätebau GmbH + Co KG was founded in 1991 in Weida and is a production site for printed circuit board and cable manufacturing as well as control cabinet construction, as a subsidiary of AMKmotion.

AMKmotion is a developer and manufacturer of electric drive systems and sees itself as a long-term partner for industrial machine and plant construction. The aim of our company is to help our customers achieve technological leadership through the integration of individual and sustainable solutions. The basis for this is the hands-on mentality lived at AMKmotion and the know-how gained in more than 60 years of company history. Personal consultation and trusting cooperation with customers are of particular importance.

The company was founded in 1963 as AMK Arnold Müller GmbH & Co. KG, became part of the Arburg family in 2021 and has since been operating as AMKmotion GmbH + Co KG. The portfolio includes electric drive technology, control technology and industrial automation technology. AMKmotion employs a total of 500 employees. In addition to its headquarters in Kirchheim unter Teck and its production site in Weida, AMKmotion has another production site in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. In addition, there are twelve representatives worldwide.
