The Water Association Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, located in Siegburg, is responsible for the legal tasks of water maintenance, water development including technical flood protection measures, and water management compensation for its predominantly municipal members.

As a water and soil association in accordance with the Water Association Act (WVG), the Water Association Rhein-Sieg-Kreis is a public corporation.

We are currently seeking a Operations Engineer (m/f/d) for the department of "Operation of dam and flood protection systems" to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position with the possibility of part-time employment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Supporting the management in all tasks related to monitoring, maintenance, and administration of dam and flood protection systems; tasks range from keeping (digital) system records, creating (partial) safety reports or status reports, conducting all necessary partial inspections as part of comprehensive inspections according to DIN, organizing and participating in external and internal system inspections, to planning and implementing necessary structural and equipment maintenance and retrofitting measures

Contracting, coordinating, and monitoring necessary external engineering services

Budget responsibility and reporting for measures within your own area of responsibility

Acting as the client and providing overall control for construction projects

Acquiring funding
