We are currently seeking a well rounded IT Hardware Repair Technician to work in a manufacturing environment supporting a major client in the South Chicago (Hegewisch) area.

MUST BE ABLE TO ROTATE SHIFTS. Shift coverage rotates between day shift 6am-2:30pm - and night shift 6pm-2:30am every quarter). Must be COVID-19 vaccinated.

The Desktop Technician has the responsibility of repairing printers (laser, Zebra and Intermec thermal printers) PCs (industrial workstations, desktops), laptops, and other various IT items supporting plant floor operations.

You will receive tickets to and need to determine if customer issue is hardware, software, network, etc.


Required skills:

Experience in the troubleshooting and repair of various electronic equipment. PCs/laptops, HP, Intermec, Printronix, Zebra and other various printers. Excellent verbal and customer service skills. Works well with a team under general supervision. Excellent communication skills are a must. Punctual and reliable. Background in Electronics is a plus.


Salary:
$20.00 to $23.00 /hour


Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
