We are currently seeking a personable, energetic, professional
Patient Care Associate to join our outstanding team at
Maryland Vision Institute located in
Frederick, Maryland.

As a
Patient Care Associate, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience, responsible for greeting patients as they enter the practice, check-in, check-out, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Greeting patients in person and/or on the phone.
  • Answering patient questions or referring questions to the appropriate team member.
  • Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling.
  • Notifying providers of patient arrivals.
  • Providing exceptional patient care, comforting patients by effectively answering questions.
  • Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records.
  • Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting thirdparty claims.
  • Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders.
  • Cross train in other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

Requirements and Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Detailoriented and ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively perform in a fastpaced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records software is a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
