We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Associate to join our team at Bark Boston.

As the Front Desk Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, and overseeing day-to-day facility activities.

This position requires someone who is punctual, detail-oriented, passionate about dogs, and capable of delivering outstanding customer experiences even in high-pressure situations.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet clients warmly and assist with checkin and checkout procedures for their furry companions.
  • Manage scheduling and reservations using our booking system, ensuring accurate and efficient coordination of daycare services.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office area, including filing paperwork, restocking supplies, and keeping records uptodate.
  • Collaborate with the staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the office and the daycare areas, and facility activities.
  • Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations and resolve conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist in coordinating special events, promotions, or community outreach efforts as needed.
  • Remain calm and composed under pressure, handling any unexpected challenges or emergencies with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Foster a positive and welcoming environment for both clients and staff, embodying our commitment to providing exceptional care for dogs and their owners.

Qualifications:


  • Previous experience in office management, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Passion for dogs and a genuine love for working with animals.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and handle client interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with booking software, Microsoft Office, and basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including the ability to work weekends or evenings as required by the needs of the business.
