OVERVIEW
Supervises and trains staff, maintains contract documentation, manages day-to-day operations, and evaluates and coordinates consumer activities in the program.

Ensures that Source America vocational training programs and community integration programs meet contract standards to include safety, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) standards.

Monitors staff training, collects and documents training data, maintains consumer files, and monitors consumer progress through the program. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversees two Ability One mail service sites related to completion of PWS and daily scheduling
  • Determines supply list and submits for processing
  • Determines facility issues related to security needs and problem solves with inhouse resources
  • Coordinates with placement program related to competitive employment
  • Provides training to consumers and staff in safety and security measures and safe mail handling procedures
  • Works as part of the team in determining best supports, training, and accommodations needed for consumers at work sites
  • Communicates effectively with each clients' team to include Support Coordinator, Residential Provider, and Guardian
  • Communicates effectively with all stakeholders, DDD Support Coordination, funding sources, partners, mail clerks, and other support teams
  • Executes Official Mail Center (OMC) contract; works closely with Air Force personnel in the execution of the OMC contract
  • Ensures compliance with OMC and PSC contractual requirements including secure mail handling procedures, mail delivery and receipt, facility compliance processes, etc.
  • Completes data and documents training program activities
  • Ensures that PSC and OMC program meets contract standards including safety standards, CARF standards and DDD standards
  • Provides direct client and program service coverage, as needed, and communicates to other personnel
  • Participates in yearly ISP and works with team to develop goals
  • Reviews and maintains CARF procedures
  • May drive agency, military, or personal vehicle on company business
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.


  • Bachelor Degree in related field, or 4 years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
  • 2 years of supervisory or job coaching experience
  • Experience in making independent decisions and judgments
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of the Department of Economic Security (DES) and DDD systems
  • Knowledge of the Vocational Rehabilitation system
  • Obtain a Federal Secret Security clearance

REGULATORY

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39month motor vehicle report
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid)
  • Pass preemployment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid)
  • Ability to acquire and maintain Article 9, Prevention and Support Training, and CPR/First Aid Certification (employer paid)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master Degree in related field
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language
  • Additional years of directlyrelated experience
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Article 9 and Prevention and Support Training Certification
  • CESP Certification
