    Job Title: Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our tenured team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be a key member of our three-person Accounting/Finance Team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will also assist the Controller with month-end close processes, reconciliations, and various administrative tasks.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage fullcycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
    • Assist the Controller with monthend close procedures.
    • Perform account reconciliations.
    • Support administrative functions within the accounting department.
    • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
    • Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting.


    Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred, Bachelors degree a plus
    • 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
