Part-Time pharmacy technician needed ASAP. We are pharmacy located inside of medical building adjacent to Torrance Memorial Hospital. We are looking for a certified and experienced pharmacy technician to join our team ASAP.


MUST

• Minimum of 23 years of work experience in a fast paced pharmacy.
• Live locally
• Have a drivers license and own a car
• Flexible hours

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Utilize knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures to assist in the delivery of patient care
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Assist in the preparation of sterile products using aseptic technique
• Proficiency in medication administration
• Strong understanding of pharmacy operations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
• Knowledge of patient care practices within a hospital setting
• Familiarity with inhale medications and their administration
