As a purchaser, you are responsible for ensuring the supply and smooth production process by negotiating contracts with suppliers and service providers, taking into account delivery times.

You represent the purchasing department in specialist teams and ensure the supply of parts and adherence to target costs within the framework of life cycle management.

Procuring materials is just as enjoyable for you as obtaining market overviews, offers, and analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiating delivery conditions, payment terms, and contractual bases, including framework agreements
  • Placing and maintaining orders, ensuring timely delivery and correct quality, including handling complaints
  • Supporting work preparation (maintenance of master data, production bills of materials, work orders)
  • Obtaining quotes and preparing price comparisons
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Good knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (Selectline, CAS)
  • Expanding supplier relationships
  • Conducting supplier evaluations in cooperation with the affected productions within the installed quality management system, if necessary also coordinating with major customers
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish
