maintenance team as a full-time custodian. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week with a varied

schedule*) and includes benefits. We offer competitive compensation for the region, self-funded health

option for years of service. *First shift hours will be 6:30 AM-3:00 PM year round. Position will report

Monday-Friday during the months of April until October, and Tuesday-Saturday during the months of

November through March.

Duties include cleaning and other custodial duties, assisting in the set-up and tear-down of facilities for

athletic/fine art/school and community programming events, maintaining the high school facility, grounds

keeping, etc. This position is responsible for on-going maintenance and minor repair of plumbing,

electrical, carpentry, and custodial equipment.


Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Valid Wisconsin Driver License
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, gyms, locker rooms, and other areas of the school.
• Be able to perform necessary maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding).
• Prepare, seal, and buff floor in preparation for floor finishing.
• Operate floor scrubbing machine and wet vacuum.
• Dust surfaces that require the use of a ladder, scaffolding, or the aerial platform.
• Replace light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and light ballasts.
• Assists in repairs to vandalized areas, such as boarding broken up broken windows, etc.
• Assist in unusual situations when needed (fire alarms, water spills, etc.).
• Secure building, lock and unlock interior and exterior doors.
• Work with any custodial machinery.
• Maintain and keep all equipment in good operating order
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
• Pick up and deliver materials when needed.
• Unload supplies delivered to the school.
• Shovel snow and perform other winter-related work.
• Assist with outside maintenance when requested.
• Any other duty as requested by Building and Grounds Supervisor or Administration

Job Types:

Up to $20.41 per hour
