AIMS is an agency dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities to become independent and create whole lives.

Our Independent Living Instructors support individuals with:

• Money management
• Medical, dental, and medication management
• Basic cooking and meal preparation
• Utilizing public transportation
• Locating affordable housing
• Obtaining and maintaining benefits such as Social Security, Medi-Cal, Medicare, etc.
• Community and Relationship Safety
• Household maintenance

Requirements for Employment:
Live Scan (criminal background check) fingerprint clearance

Valid California Driver License

Acceptable DMV record

Must have a reliable automobile, auto insurance and be willing to DRIVE OWN CAR (we reimburse for mileage)

Eligible to work in U.S.

Verifiable references

At least 21 years' old

Proof of Vaccination

PAY:
$19.00/HR- $24.00/hour starting; depends on experience and education related to the field

Concord, Walnut Creek, Antioch, Pittsburg, Brentwood, Concord, Pleasant Hill

Part-Time to Full-Time:
Monday - Friday 8:00am-8:00pm flex hours; weekend hours available
