Justice specialists (m/f/d) take on important and diverse tasks in close cooperation with judges, prosecutors, legal officers, and judicial clerks. They are often the first point of contact for citizens seeking legal advice.

Your tasks as a justice specialist (m/f/d) at a glance:

Processing (electronic) files for civil and criminal cases
Providing information to parties involved in legal proceedings and recording their statements
Calculating court fees, collecting them, and determining witness compensation
Reporting convictions to the Federal Office of Justice and arranging entries in the criminal record

The training in detail:

The two-year training consists of alternating blocks with:

A total of 14 months of practical training in courts and prosecutor's offices
10 months of accompanying instruction at the Justice Training Center in Essen. Here, if desired, you can live and study with other aspiring justice specialists.

You apply for the training online at the Higher Regional Court and will rotate between district and regional courts during your training.
