    **Program**

    **Mobile Crisis services for Solano County** involve providing emergency crisis intervention services to residents facing acute mental health issues. This includes phone crisis screening, in-person crisis evaluation, intervention services, and referrals to necessary follow-up services. The Mobile Crisis Unit collaborates with law enforcement, crisis stabilization units, and local emergency departments to offer a cohesive crisis response system.

    **Responsibilities and Duties**

    • Support mental health crisis hotlines, assess and de-escalate crisis situations
    • Participate in decision-making for involuntary holds
    • Provide billable mental health services, ensure documentation compliance, and meet productivity targets
    • Engage with families during psychiatric crises, offer psychoeducation, and facilitate transports when needed
    • Identify triggers, unmet needs, and develop risk management plans for clients
    • Offer community resources and referrals based on individual needs

    **Other Duties and Responsibilities**

    • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation training
    • Drive to crisis locations as required, perform program-specific tasks
    • Collaborate with law enforcement and community stakeholders

    **Qualifications**

    To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Bachelor's degree in Psychology preferred
    • Minimum one year of experience in mental health or healthcare

    **Other Specific Requirements**

    • Mandatory certification in crisis intervention techniques as per program guidelines

    **Preferred Qualifications**

    • Prior experience working with children or adults
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

    **Highly Desirable Qualifications**

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to communicate in multiple languages

    **Physical Requirements**

    Candidates must maintain adequate physical fitness to ensure personal and client safety. During duty, they may be required to stand, walk, and use hands when necessary.
