LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a meticulous and results-driven Staff Accountant for a reputable client in St. Louis, MO. Join our team and take on a pivotal role in managing financial records and ensuring precise financial reporting.

Overview: As the Staff Accountant, you will dive into a variety of accounting tasks, from maintaining financial records to collaborating with the finance team. Are you ready to showcase your accounting skills and contribute to the financial success of our client?

Key Responsibilities:

Keeping financial records accurate and organized.
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
Aiding in budget preparation and analysis.
Performing regular account reconciliations.
Handling accounts payable and receivable.
Managing billing processes efficiently.
Ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
Participating in audit processes.
Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Collaborating on accounting policy development.
Offering financial insights for informed decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of GAAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Type: Direct Hire/ Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 (based on experience)
