    We are pleased to announce that we are now interviewing applicants for a full-time year-round Pre-K Teacher role in Columbia, NC. The lead pre-k teacher would be responsible for 18 students, with the help of 1 on-site paraprofessional. The term of this contract would start July 1, 2024, and end on June 30, 2025, with the opportunity to renew.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate early childhood education learning by implementing developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom environment.
    • Supervise and maintain responsibility for the safety of all students.
    • Develop a patient, nurturing, and caring environment for all students.
    • Teach students concepts such as grammar (verbal and written), language development, mathematical development, scientific development, social studies, creative development, physical development, and social/emotional development.

    Education & Licensing Requirements:

    • Early Childhood Education Teachers License State of North Carolina
      • Out of State reciprocity licensure is acceptable also.
    • Bachelors degree in any education, early childhood education, or a related field

    Term: July 1, 2024 June 30, 2025 (Contracts are renewed each year with a pay-raise)
    Time: 7:45 am 3:10 pm (Days are slightly longer, but there are multiple breaks during the day)
    Caseload: 18 students in the classroom 1 paraprofessional to assist
