The Arc of Greater Hudson Valley, NY is currently hiring a full-time Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team


The Arc of Greater Hudson Valley, NY is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to providing support and services to over 1,800 people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and to their families in Sullivan and Orange and Dutchess Counties, New York.

Location:
Dutchess County, NY

Schedule:
Full-time - 80 hours Bi-weekly position


Requirements:

BA preferred (preferably Human Services) Associates Degree accepted (preferably Human Services) and HS diploma with relevant skills and experience in the field will be considered.

Strong writing/typing, computer and analytical thinking skills required. Familiarity with database systems a plus


Coordinator QI Specialist Responsibilities:


  • Provide systematic reviews of program operations and records and conduct investigations to ensure compliance, quality services and incident management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and the communication of issues to management, programs and collateral agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree (preferably in Human Services)
  • Associates degree (preferably in Human Services)

Minimum Qualifications:


  • HS diploma with relevant skills and experience in the field will be considered.
  • Strong writing/typing, computer and analytical thinking skills required. Familiarity with database systems a plus.
  • A valid, clean NYS driver's license with a minimum of one year (1) driving experience with a Class D license is
    required.
