    Description

    SNI is partnering with one of the top rated Investment Firms in the world that is looking to hire a Portfolio Accountant.

    The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' of experience within the public accounting space, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a desire to grow within an expanding company.

    Responsibilities of this role include:

    • Review investment valuations on a monthly basis to ensure compliance with internal valuation policies and US GAAP
    • Assist in preparation of monthly reporting package to the Valuation Committee
    • Perform monthly close related tasks including calculation and analysis of income changes, expense accruals, US GAAP adjusting entries, and financial statement review
    • Coordinate with the Investor Accounting team to support monthly NAV reporting
    • Assist in coordination of annual audits, including interaction with auditors and administrator, and coordination with different departments to ensure an efficient audit
    • Assist in the review of the firms internal control environment, including the support of the annual SOC 1 reporting
    • Review various management and regulatory reports prepared by the administrator
    • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external groups
