Medical Assistant - ACCESS Sinai - Bilingual (English & Spanish) Required

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients' needs.
  • Assist providers with onsite procedures.
  • Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.
  • Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments, and reviewing medical records.
  • Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited entity
  • Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • CPR certification only through the American Heart Association or Red Cross with the skills portion through inperson learning.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience or clinical externship
  • Basic proficiency with EMR (Epic preferred)
