Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduler. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing appointments for our patients. This is a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent patient service.
Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments using various scheduling systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic)
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure availability for appointments
- Manage and update patient information in the scheduling system
- Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding appointments
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their needs and concerns
- Collaborate with the front desk team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical scheduling or dental office receptionist role preferred
- Familiarity with scheduling systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of patient service principles and practices
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
Pay:
$ $23.99 per hour
