    ** Project Safety Manager**

    ** Progressive Safety Management - Charlotte, North Carolina**

    Immediate opening (potential for permanent hire) as a Project Safety Coordinator. Our client is a commercial GC and has an immediate need to join their team on a large construction project in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Project Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

    Days a Week: M-F

    Hours a Day: 8 with potential overtime

    The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, show strong attention to detail, and most importantly, believe in a team-oriented approach. This position will require construction safety experience on large construction projects.

    What You Will Do:

    Interact with Project site personnel, project owner's representatives, subcontractors, suppliers

    Convey safety and health requirements to all new personnel

    Implement project-specific Accident Prevention Plan for work-in-progress

    Prepare daily safety narrative, identifying observations, and any noted deficiencies

    Conduct daily Toolbox Talks

    Conduct and lead incident investigations

    Conduct job site safety inspections

    Conduct safety training

    Maintain the required on-site safety records for inspection

    What We Are Seeking:

    1 - 3 years Construction Safety Experience on large high-rise projects

    Safety Professional Certification preferred

    OSHA 30-Hour Construction

    CPR / First Aid (current certificate)

    Competent Person Certification(s)

    Driver License

    Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
