- Performs routine park maintenance.
- Performs general cleanup, maintenance, and repair of rest rooms, pavilions, playgrounds, picnic tables, benches, bleachers, ball fields and other facilities.
- Performs various seasonal duties such as snow removal and weed control, etc.
- Work flexible hours, days and holidays as directed.
- Ensures quality customer service.
- Assists with City functions and events.
- Performs related duties as required.
- A valid New Mexico's driver's license required.

Temporary Parks Tech
PART-TIME - TEMPORARY $15.00/HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:Performs a wide variety of entry level semi-skilled duties related to planning, coordinating and directing all phases of park maintenance to include turf management and beautification, irrigation systems, shade structures, and construction and repair.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EQUIPMENT USED:
Knowledge includes use of landscaping equipment, maintenance equipment. Knowledge on using a two-way radio, ladders, work tools, power tool.

Often needs to climb up to a 16-foot ladder.
The employee must occasionally lift up to sixty (60) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
