What You Will Be Doing
We are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-22 aircraft. This position is located out of Langley Air Force Base, VA. This pivotal role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities.

Some of the job requirements & responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Service, repairs, and overhauls F22 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness.
  • Repair, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems. Incorporate engineering changes.
  • Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components.
  • Adjust, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories
  • Read and interpret F22 engineering drawings, technical manuals, electrical systems, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes
  • Identify aircraft locations by station, buttline, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.
  • Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationship of circuits.
  • Perform such tasks as making circuit analyzes, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
  • Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FODfree work area.
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Fighter Aircraft/Attack/Cargo/Utility Helicopters or similar aircraft Avionics/Electrical experience required
  • Previously awarded a 5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificate
  • Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms
  • Documentation, and Supply Chain Management
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills:


  • F22, F35, F16, F15, F18,AH64, AH1, CH47,46, 60,53 or similar aircraft avionics/electrical experience to include troubleshooting,assembling, routing, clamping, and termination of wiring.
  • Experienced in Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs
  • Modifications and Maintenance
  • Nose to Tail Maintenance Concept

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.


Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:

Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
