Job Summary:
The Product Developer will lead the development and enhancement of new products for Marquis Who's Who, guiding them from conceptualization to launch.
In this role, you will engage in active collaboration with our current network of vendors while seeking out new partnerships to foster growth.
By combining the strengths of existing partnerships with the exploration of new connections, the Product Developer aims to facilitate the continuous innovation and growth of our product offerings.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams in sales and marketing will be essential for translating innovative concepts into reality and developing vendor relations.
You'll be responsible for aligning product strategies with business goals and maintaining high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and design new products from conception to launch by identifying customer needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define product specifications, including design, features, and performance criteria while optimizing product quality and manufacturability.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
- Oversee the design, prototyping, and testing phases to ensure product specifications are met.
- Work crossfunctionally with marketing and sales teams to develop gotomarket strategies and product positioning.
- Monitor product performance postlaunch and incorporate feedback into future development.
- Cultivate and foster current vendor connections within the organization to optimize their complete potential.
- Identify and actively pursue new prospects for broadening business collaborations in the domain of product development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities in cultivating new vendor relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited college/university (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in product development or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation to commercialization.
- Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and usercentered design principles.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed product decisions.
- Prior demonstrated vendor management experience
- Clear capabilities to develop and foster new vendor relationships
- Highly proficient in vendor selection, assessment of vendor capabilities, vendor performance management, vendor relationship building, and cost optimization.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering highquality products.
- A creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail, problemsolving abilities, and ability to meet timesensitive goals.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and synthesize data

Compensation:
