Job Title:
Water and Wastewater Plant Operator Trainee (Entry Level)
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment plant.
- Monitor and adjust water and wastewater treatment processes.
- Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis of water and wastewater.
- Monitor and record water and wastewater system parameters.
- Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are followed.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of water and wastewater treatment equipment.
- Assist with the collection and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Follow all environmental regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and problemsolving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
