Core Responsibilities

  • Oversees and directs activities related to Electric Operations training which includes, scheduling, tracking compliance, monthly status reports and recommends training course development and or enhancements based upon organizational needs.
  • Collaborates with The Learning Center and Electric Operations to evaluate appropriateness of training curriculum.
  • Recommends software solutions and the development of eLearning to enhance training and scheduling effectiveness.
  • Oversees and directs activities that facilitate the timely scheduling of all Electric Operations training including promotional testing to ensure compliance and employee readiness to effectively perform day to day activities.
  • Develops procedures, polices, guidelines and training documentation as necessary.
  • Facilitates standardization of training across Electric Operations organizations.
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and resolve multiple and varied issues.
  • Serves as a champion of organizational change.
  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years administrative work experience or
  • Associate's Degree and 10 years administrative work experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • One to three years of experience supervising management, union and/or contractor employees. Required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external customers, contractors and various levels of management. Required
  • Demonstrated strong decisionmaking, organizational, problem solving, analytical and administrative skills with solid teamwork orientation and attention to detail. Required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to engage personnel, drive for results managing projects and day to day tasks. Required
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, be committed to providing exemplary customer service and able to influence positive outcomes. Required
  • Must have strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Required
  • Must be well organized, demonstrate a high energy level, be innovative, flexible, able to handle multiple assignments and meet stringent deadlines. Required
  • Must have high regards for personal accountability and understand the critical importance of our commitment to excellence. Required
  • Strong working knowledge of eTrain and TLC Portal. Preferred

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within and outside Company service territory, as needed.
  • This position will require site visits to various Company locations as well as support during emergencies.
