SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT:
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with corporations, foundations, individuals, government agencies, other nonprofit partners, and communitybased organizations that align with our mission and strategic goals.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, including regular communication, meetings, and collaboration on joint initiatives.
PROGRAM COORDINATION:
- Coordinate programs and activities in collaboration with partners, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of objectives.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure the successful execution of the program.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Manage projects related to partnerships, including timelines, budgets, marketing and deliverables.
COLLABORATION:
- Facilitate collaboration between the PowerPlay programs and its partners.
- Work closely with internal teams, including program managers, communications, and finance, to ensure alignment and coordination on partnership initiatives and success of the programs.
- Manage communication channels between the PowerPlay programs and its partners.
REPORTING AND EVALUATION:
- Maintain accurate records of partnership agreements, communications, and program activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of partnership programs, prepare reports, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Use feedback from partners and stakeholders to make improvements to the program.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in program coordination, partnership development, or related roles.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders (internally and externally).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for partnership growth and innovation.
- Knowledge of the nonprofit sector, fundraising, and grant management is a plus.
- Passion for social impact, positive youth development and a commitment to PowerPlay's mission, vision and culture.
- Flexible and adaptable ability to work with changing conditions and priorities, willingness to work some evenings and weekends

. - Proactive, "cando" approach/attitude; demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
. - An excellent team player with a positive attitude and the ability to connect and collaborate with others.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3-4 years work experience in youth development, communications and partnerships.
COMPUTER SKILLS- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and general ability to learn new software- Proficiency in the Google Workspace platform.- Proficiency in Canva and/or other design software.
SALARY RANGE:
- $45,000 - $50,000 annually
