**Description**

Scheduling and safe transportation of residents to medical appointments.

**Responsibilities**

The Driver I maintains a daily Vehicle Inspection List and returns to the Director of Safety and Transportation.

Maintains all fluid levels in vehicles and communicates any mechanical problems to the Director of Safety and Transportation immediately

The Driver I issues Taxi script to residents, with reservations, who cannot be picked up or dropped off during scheduled limousine hours, and submits receipts to Administration for Reimbursement.

Answers cell phone calls from residents for pick up while out on runs and schedules pick up as required

The Driver I operates vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

Computer literacy

First aid certification.(ESC will train)

Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

**Education and Qualifications**

Two years minimum experience as a bus or limousine driver

High school diploma or equivalent

Some college or related life experience

Class B California drivers license, and a clean DMV record for the past four years
