Summary: Seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in mine/industrial plant design to develop detailed electrical systems and lead engineering teams.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
5-20 years of experience in plant/facility electrical designs
Proficiency in NEC, ANSI, IEEE principles and practices of engineering
Knowledge of MS Office, Teams, AutoCAD, and data analysis tools
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

Preferred Skills:

Experience with system analysis tools like ETAP, SKM or EMTP, PSS/E
Understanding of HV substations and transmission (115 and 230 kV)
Expertise in MV distribution and large motor applications
Familiarity with scoping client needs for PFS/FS development and AFE scoping/estimating

Job Responsibilities:

Develop detailed design packages for electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, protection, and related control systems
Prepare construction drawings/documents including equipment location plans, wiring schematics, cable/tray layouts etc.
Develop electrical models/reports using software like SKM, ETAP, PLS-CAD
Collaborate with team members including clients/vendors; accept/guide other discipline engineers/designers
Participate in feasibility studies; manage equipment selection/specification/procurement; contribute to design drawing development

Note: Candidate will start on a contract basis with potential for direct hire. U.S. Citizen or Green Card holders are preferred; TN Visas are also acceptable. No security clearance is required.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
