    Description

    Title: IT Project Manager

    Location: Atlanta, GA

    Responsibilities

    • Manage projects involving network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment, and similar tasks
    • Coordinate work between IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, assessing feasibility, and impact
    • Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, track progress, monitor change control processes, conduct testing, provide documentation, offer training, and ensure on-time delivery within budget

    Strategy & Planning

    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives
    • Communicate project expectations clearly and timely to team members and stakeholders
    • Engage continuously with project stakeholders
    • Manage project expectations and schedules efficiently
    • Establish project timelines, milestones, and track progress using appropriate tools
    • Monitor project milestones, assess deliverables, and address any issues
    • Define project success criteria and communicate them across involved parties
    • Conduct project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project components

    Acquisition & Deployment

    • Estimate necessary resources and participants for project success
    • Prepare and review budget proposals, recommend budget adjustments as needed
    • Negotiate with department managers for required personnel
    • Assess the need for additional staff or consultants and make recruitments accordingly
