    Description

    Adecco Permanent Recruitment joined forces with one of our top clients to find a Project Manager - Electrical position for exciting large-scale projects. There are several openings in Richmond, VA or Boydton/South Hill, VA, and relocation options are on the table.

    The Project Manager will take the lead in overseeing various aspects of electrical projects in a data center setting. Their duties will include managing teams, devising strategic plans and budgets, supervising day-to-day project operations, handling documentation such as change orders and as-builts, and ensuring successful project delivery.

    Skills Needed:

    • 4-year degree in Engineering (with a preference for Electrical specialization, though backgrounds in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Management will be considered). The degree must be from an ABET accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects (such as data centers, manufacturing plants - semiconductor, etc., hospitals, transit transportation, or similar sectors)
    • Prior background in electrical contracting (as opposed to General Contracting or Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
    • Proficiency in project scheduling, project controls, procurement, commissioning/testing, and exceptional communication skills (especially customer-facing)
    • Strong computer skills including MS Office, Blue Beam, and PDF knowledge
    • Familiarity with CPM Scheduling

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Accubid Estimating in relation to Electrical Installations
    • Proficiency in Primavera P6 CPM Scheduling
